"Want to test my Jaguar skills?"

Well, it's time to wrap up "unofficial ninja week" on this here blog with an entry about one of the greatest characters in cinematic history...

Anyone who's ever seen Godfrey Ho's Ninja Terminator will know about the utter coolness of Jaguar Wong, quite possibly the coolest fucker to ever swagger across the screen of a Kung Fu film.

However, you should never mess with the mans suit...

Jaguar Wong is "played" by Jack Lam. I say "played" because the footage of him in Ninja Terminator was spliced in from another film entirely. However, the genius of Godfrey Ho resulted in the creation of a brilliant character, that really should've been spun off into a whole series of movies.

With confidence squared and the arrogance to match, Jaguar Wong is also pretty handy in a fight, as you can see from his final battle with Tiger Chan ("played" by Hwang Jang Lee)...

I really have no idea why Tiger Chan is wearing that wig. I'm sure there's some subtlety's to the script that I'm not picking up on there... But, hey, it's a Godfrey Ho film, and the man is an undisputed cinematic genius...
