Kingdom Come Special: Superman
Reading the JSA Kingdom Come Special: Superman by Alex Ross, I came across this little quote in the back by the artist himself:"Over the last ten years since I worked on the Kingdom Come series, I've imagined various details of what I would do to add to its backstory and ultimate definition. The story of how the KC Lois died was chief among these ideas."
Presumably this 'new' idea of yours, Alex, concerning the death of Lois Lane in the Kingdom Come universe is the same story that was used in the Kingdom Come novelisation by Eliot S Maggin, released with the Kingdom Come series over ten years ago. Maggin had full access to the scripts and plot notes when Kingdom Come was being written, and included things in the novel that didn't appear until in the collected edition (such as the scene with Orion on Apokalips and the epilogue in the Planet Krypton restaurant), but trying to pass off the story surrounding Lois Lane's death as something completely new?
Come on, Alex.
Thank God for Patrick Stewart...
I'm ill, and I need something to cheer me up. Thank God for Patrick Stewart...

Holy Costume Designs, Batman!
Having recently read some of the wild speculation about the future of The Boy Wonder, I found something interesting while sifting through some old comics:

This was a companion piece to an Elseworlds comic called Brotherhood Of The Bat, written by Doug Moench, with a wide array of artists. This book, published in 1995, contains what are supposed to be Bruce Wayne's early designs for the Batman costume, but going further into it, there's also some suggested designs for Robin's costume.
For instance:

Look familiar?

Red Robin first appeared in the seminal 1996 series Kingdom Come, and is now one of the many characters from that series that are popping up in the modern DC Universe.
However, slightly more telling is this:

Now compare it to Robin's current costume:

Does the wardrobe of the Boy Wonder owe a great debt to the Knight Gallery one-shot? Or is it all just a massive coincidence?
I wouldn't like to say.
