A Strange Discovery...

Ok... This is a bit of a weird one, but I just found the 'original' version of a strip I wrote for FutureQuake called Hunt. I have no idea who the artist is (it's lettered, but there's no credits), but I'm almost glad that it didn't make the cut...

I've posted up my script submission to Avatar Press over on my WordPress blog. I'm not going to lie about this: I've never been a fan of Avatar or it's early publications - they seemed to publish comics aimed at an altogether more...adult market, which is not my bag. In fairness, though, over the last few years, they've started to work with some big name writers, and they're publishing some great stuff.

So, last year, I thought I'd take a chance and made a script submission, using one of their own characters (as per their guidelines), and see if I could generate a paying gig.

I'm still waiting for a reply.
