Well, me, for one.
And it's not out of any fear of being blown up on the way to work or the pub, but simply because it's becoming increasingly transparent that the government is using it to gradually erode our most basic rights.
I know that probably sounds like the rantings of a conspiracy theorist nutter stroking a rifle, and married to his sister, but it's not. Look around you: the police now have the power to stop and search anyone. Any government department can have access to your e-mails. A news story on the radio this morning talked about the use of special microphones to listen to people's conversations in the streets, for Christ's sake!
But what angers me more than anything else is the fact that no one seems bothered. We've all been spoonfed tabloid headlines, and we're more concerned with watching non-entities singing in a jungle than wondering why our government feels the need to control us so much.
A nanny state? More like a Nazi state.
