Over on The Quaequam Blog, the official blog of the 2000AD fanzine Zarjaz, editor extraordinaire Bolt-01 has re-printed our Christmas strip, Judge Dredd: The Right To Arm Bears, along with some very kind and very humbling words.
Anyone who knows Bolt and his partner in crime Rich Clements will know that not only are they the guardians of the Galaxy's Greatest Fanzines, they're also the masterminds behind the Eagle Award nominated FutureQuake, one of the finest small press anthologies around, that's been host to early work from Alec Worley, Michael Moreci and Al Ewing. They're also two of the most dedicated, passionate and professional people you could ever hope to meet in the UK scene and it's been an absolute pleasure to work with them down the years.
However, my association with them is far from over... Later this year, myself and the aforementioned Bolt-01 will be working together in the pages of Dogbreath with a Durham Red strip called Neon Nights. Here's a sneak peek:
And in Zarjaz, I'll be teaming up with Stewart K. Moore for Judge Dredd: Jurassic Farce:
