Och, you've spoilt that ending for me.
As news goes, this is of the 'sucks' variety, not least because despite his awesome turn as two iconic tv characters (David Callan and Robert McCall - yes, I remember the names!), my most recent memory is either that crappy BBC 'aren't working class people ignorant scum' sitcom about refuse collectors, or that turn he did in sci-fi shitfest Crusade as a wizard with a shouty voice, when what I should really be remembering is his class turn as a sexually-repressed christian piggy who comes a cropper of a pagan fruitloop with silly hair.
Good innings, all the same. I suppose there's that, but it's still sad.
